12 Driving Forces™ (Motivators)

The Driving Forces tells you WHY you do the things you do.

What is it that motivates people to take action? What is the source of their desire to become involved in certain activities – or to avoid them? Why do people behave the way they do?

The answers lie deep within their unique set of personal driving forces. These powerful motivating forces are the drivers of our behaviors, or the “why” of our behaviors, and will motivate us to take specific action. Identifying individuals’ values is important to understanding what makes them effective, satisfied and personally successful.

Six attitudes lay the foundation for the 12 Driving Forces™ assessment. Those 12 major drivers form a window through which individuals view the world and seek fulfillment in their lives.

The Six Attitudes

12 Driving Forces

The results of the 12 Driving Forces assessment produce a report that identifies an individual’s level on each of the 12 driving forces and determines his or her primary cluster of driving forces, situational cluster and indifferent driving forces cluster. With the knowledge of driving forces in the workplace, we can encourage employees in a way that satisfies their inner drive, so their passions are fulfilled and they are “plugged in” on the job.

Based in the driving forces they hold, we can determine if a position will be rewarding and can understand what drives them right from the start, rather than waiting for time to tell. An understanding of driving forces will reduce conflicts, improve talent selection and increase retention, expand efficiency and productivity, and energize a group working toward common goals.

With years of research and validation, the 12 Driving Forces report provides accurate information of a person’s drivers. Information that should be an integral part of human capital management efforts world-wide.
