Two new reports have been developed that offer a unique twist on DISC and Values.

  • The New Team Reports combine the DISC or Values scores of up to 25 people (minimum of 2 people).
  • Determines percentages and key characteristics of each style or motivator. Percentages for both Natural and Adapted are shown in the four behavioral styles, and the natural styles are shown and described in each of the eight areas of the wheel.
  • Includes graphs that provide a visual representation of the team. Team Behavioral Report includes three wheels; natural, adapted and movement.
  • You can designate one person as the leader of the group.

What is DISC?

DISC is the universal language of observable human behavior, or “how we act”. DISC does not measure education, experience, values or intelligence. It simply measures an individual’s behaviors, or how they communicate.

DISC is not a personality test; it examines only observable behavior and emotions. It is correctly called a behavioral style indicator or a behavioral analysis.

DISC is an acronym for Direct, Influencing, Steady and Compliant behaviors.

DISC shows no preference to race, gender, ethnicity, or religious affiliation.

DISC identifies how people respond to problems, people, pace and procedures.

DISC provides a nonjudgmental language for exploring behavioral issues across four primary dimensions:

  • Dominance: Direct and Decisive.
D's are strong-willed, strong-minded people who like accepting challenges, taking action, and getting immediate results
  • Influence: Optimistic and Outgoing.
I's are "people people" who like participating on teams, sharing ideas, and energizing and entertaining others.
  • Steadiness: Sympathetic and Cooperative.
S's are helpful people who like working behind the scenes, performing in consistent and predictable ways, and being good listeners.
  • Conscientiousness: Concerned and Correct.
C's are sticklers for quality and like planning ahead, employing systematic approaches, and checking and re-checking for accuracy.

With the knowledge of DISC, you can learn to understand and appreciate your behavior style, and then adapt your style in communication with others. We call this style flexibility. You can learn to treat others the way they want to be treated.

DISC profiles come in a number of different formats to meet your specific training goals. DISC is available in both paper and online formats. A majority of our clients use the online DISC Management-Staff Version which is the most comprehensive online report available for all audiences. If you don't have much time to administer DISC or you just want to give a brief overview of DISC, we have the perfect DISC version for you. We also have many DISC resources to enhance your DISC learning: books, tutorials, Facilitator Kits, and PowerPoint presentations.
